GrapeSEED helps multilingual learners in preschool through second grade as well as older newcomers. GrapeSEED also helps general ed preschool students, transitional kindergarten students, special ed students and students who need additional language development help.
The Student App is used to reinforce and supplement what is taught in the classroom.

A professional learning specialist is assigned to each district and will assist teachers with determining the appropriate unit in which to begin instruction.
Your purchase is all-inclusive. Everything you need to be successful is included beginning with the foundation training for teachers, on-going coaching and support, monthly PDs, access to the digital portal which has a plethora of resources for teachers, use of Nexus, the digital teaching platform, the Student App, consumable Writers for students which begin in unit 3, parent newsletters and more!
In a typical school year, teachers will provide instruction for five units.

Each GrapeSEED unit is carefully designed with language expressions, high-frequency words, vocabulary, and phonograms that connect seamlessly. This allows students to hear, sing, and practice in diverse contexts, enhancing their learning. As a result, all components are sold together and cannot be purchased individually.
Yes! Parents and families can engage with our Student App on their own devices at home, have access to their very own portal, can monitor their child’s GrapeSEED Student App usage and more! There are also unit by unit newsletters for families, keeping them ‘in the know’ about themes and language being acquired. These newsletters are available in multiple languages.
Yes, GrapeSEED has formative assessments, found in the way of ‘Quick Checks’. ‘Quick Checks’ have been embedded into our Daily Lesson Plans for each and every teaching component.
